Lux VPN is operated by Tetryx Solutions Corporation, 1st Floor, NEP Centre, HIS Building, Providence, Mahé, Seychelles ("Lux VPN," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of the Lux VPN website, applications, and VPN service (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and the other policies on this page. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, and let us know at support@luxvpn.co if you believe your account has been compromised.
The Service is provided to help you browse privately and securely. It is not a license to break the law. You agree not to use the Service to:
We don't condone using Lux VPN to break the law. Illegal activity is still illegal, even when you're connected through a VPN.
We work to keep the Service reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Server maintenance, upstream provider issues, or events outside our control may affect availability from time to time.
The Lux VPN name, logo, and branding are our property. Our apps and software are licensed to you for personal use in connection with the Service, not sold, and you may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lux VPN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time; see our Cancellation Policy below.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Seychelles, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We keep this deliberately short. To run a subscription business, we retain only what's needed to bill you, support you, and catch fraud:
Solely for account administration, billing, customer support, and fraud prevention. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our billing system, including all account data and backups, is hosted in Iceland. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, and for 180 days after cancellation, after which it's purged from our active systems. We run full backups weekly on a rolling four-week cycle, so a purged record can persist in a backup for up to four weeks afterward as that cycle rolls it out.
Your payment processor receives your billing address and payment details directly at checkout, we never see or store them. Our VPN infrastructure is provided by a third-party network operator; this policy covers data collected by Lux VPN itself, not the underlying no-logs VPN network, which does not log connection activity by design.
We use a cookie consent tool to let you control non-essential cookies on this site. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
You can request a copy of the account data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by contacting support@luxvpn.co.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our processing of your personal data if you're located in the EU or EEA, regardless of where we're incorporated, because we offer the Service to individuals there.
Legal basis for processing. We process your name, email, transaction ID, and support ticket details under the following legal bases:
International data transfers. Our billing system and backups are hosted in Iceland, which is part of the European Economic Area and subject to the same data protection standards as the EU. Lux VPN is operated by Tetryx Solutions Corporation, incorporated in the Seychelles, meaning some processing (such as internal review of support tickets) occurs outside the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on the fact that the data set involved is deliberately minimal, name, email, a transaction reference, and support correspondence, not sensitive or special category data.
Your GDPR rights. In addition to the rights described above, if the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact support@luxvpn.co.
Our EU representative. In accordance with Article 27 of the GDPR, Lux VPN has designated an EU representative to serve as a point of contact for supervisory authorities and data subjects in the EU/EEA:
Trinix Sp. z o.o.
ul. Marcina Kasprzaka 31/119
01-234 Warszawa, Mazowieckie
Poland
Email: gdpr@luxvpn.co
You may contact our EU representative, in addition to or instead of contacting us directly, with any questions or requests regarding our processing of your personal data.
The Service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Every Lux VPN plan, monthly, 6-month, and annual, comes with a 15-day money-back guarantee starting from your initial purchase date. If you're not satisfied, contact us within that window and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
Email support@luxvpn.co with your account email and the reason for your request (optional, but helps us improve). Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Charges after the initial 15-day guarantee period, including subsequent renewal charges, are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period; see Cancellation Policy below.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@luxvpn.co. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund charges already billed for the current period, except as described in our Refund Policy above.
Your access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, your subscription will not renew and access ends. Your account data is retained for 180 days after cancellation and then purged, as described in our Privacy Policy.
This section applies to all Lux VPN subscription plans and is provided as a clear, standalone disclosure of how recurring billing works.
Shortly before your next billing period, we will send you an e-mail indicating the pending renewal.
Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged again, at the then-current price for your plan, using the payment method on file:
Cancel before your renewal date. See Cancellation Policy above for how. Once a renewal charge has processed, it's subject to our standard Refund Policy, not automatically refunded.
If we change the price of your plan, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you before it takes effect on your next renewal.
